Placing an order.

All prices will be charged at the published price list current at the date of order, and include VAT where applicable. No charge is made to a consumer for credit card payments. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Maestro/Switch cards via Paypal along with payments made direct from your Paypal account. We will also accept cheques as long as arrangements have been made prior to placing your order. Goods ordered by post, telephone or fax will be priced at the current price on the day they are ordered.

Force Majeure.

Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, strike, lock-out, industrial action, fire or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.


We deliver to all countries in Europe.

Please obtain a shipping quote for all deliveries outside mainland UK. You can request a quote through our online chat or send an email with details of the item/s you wish to order and your postcode.

In the case of goods purchased by credit card, those goods can only be shipped to the credit card holders address (in order to protect you, we carry out checks to ensure that your card is not being used fraudulently) and must be signed for on delivery. We will endeavour to deliver to a preferred delivery address, if you so wish, however, goods will require a signature upon receipt therefore you will need to select a tracked delivery method.

We aim to deliver larger items within 10 working days although as expected special made to order items may take longer. You will be advised of expected lead times for special order items. Couriers we use are TNT, Royal Mail, Speedshift pallets, National Pallets and local couriers for local items.


When it comes to buying furniture online one of the biggest worries is what if it does not match or I do not like it...don't worry we have a 14 day no hassle returns for peace of mind. You just need to open your packaging carefully so that you can return your order in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. 

 This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations, or the following goods which are exempt from the right to cancel.

Any items which have been personalized or modified to your specification, such as personalised gifts and products which now bare the name of the intended recipient and built to order goods such as Sofas cannot be returned, also products must be unassembled and in the original packaging we cannot accept returns of flat pack furniture that has been assembled.

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us.  We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods at your own cost within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us and/or our supplier (or any other UK address specified by us). You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you cancel the order after the goods have been dispatched but before they are delivered to you the couriers costs will be deducted from the final refund amount.

Please note that you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit and that we receive the goods in the same condition you received them. If reasonable care is not exercised, we may make a claim against you for not exercising this statutory duty.

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

If you request us to assemble your item for you prior to delivery and wish to return the item a full refund minus £45 for increased delivery costs for delivering it to you assembled.

Any items received damaged due to not using the appropriate delivery method for the item will be returned to you. We will not accept responsibility for items lost when a non tracked method of posting has been selected. All returned items must be in their original packaging with their original tags and labeling. It must not be used, installed or modified. Items that have been assembled or part assembled cannot be returned or exchanged.

We stand by our fantastic products-if your order arrives damaged or defective we will arrange a replacement for you straight away if it has been reported prior to assembly.

Exceptions to be aware of - We cannot accept returns on custom made to order items, sale items or special order items. Please check your measurements carefully as special order items, made to order items and custom made items cannot be returned. 

What if my order arrives damaged?

Items are packed and packaged to withstand damage during shipping. If an item looks damaged or parts are missing, you may conveniently request a replacement by emailing us or if you prefer give us a call and we will be happy to arrange a replacement as soon as possible as long as the damage is reported within 14 days of receiving your order. Pictures of damage/fault will need to be sent to us. Items must be checked prior to assembly

Price & Special Offers.

All goods are offered subject to availability. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Chic Paradis reserves the right to reject any orders which include incorrect prices which may occur due to data entry errors,code errors, hacking, incorrect pricing provided by manufacturer, translation errors etc. Prices are not negotiable and do not include postage and handling unless stated "free delivery" on the item description.

If the incorrect delivery charge has been selected for you area we reserve the right to cancel the order or request the correct full amount from you. If items are being dispatched separately and you have not settled the full delivery amount before the order is totally complete we have the right to cancel the rest of the order and refund the money for any outstanding deliveries.

We like to be fair and provide a good service to our customers, we really do appreciate the correct delivery charge being selected at the checkout as all delivery charges paid are checked prior to despatch.

Privacy policy

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.


If you would like to cancel your order please let us know within 48 hours of placing your order. See our returns policy for details on returns. Please note made to order or special order items cannot be cancelled. If a cancellation is agreed there would be a 10% of the item value cancellation fee.

Holding items

We do our best to accommodate customers needs and try to hold items where possible, maybe you are moving home, re decorating or completely renovating your home.  There is no charge for this.
